1. All orders are confirmed on a first come first serve basis.

2. Once an order is confirmed, it may not be altered in any way.

3. Requests to add items to a confirmed order will result in those items being treated as a separate order.

4. All orders must be submitted via our web site. No orders may be requested by snail mail or by phone. Such orders will not be honored.

5. Our point card is the only method of discount.

6. Special orders are treated individually and may not be combined with any pending orders. They may however be combined with other special orders when said items are available. Once a special order item is available other available items can be combined with that order.

7. Customers who use PayPal, money order or checks as payment and do not honor their orders will be refused service after the third occurrence. To avoid this please e-mail us if you must cancel an order held for you.

8. We reserve the right to amend our policies at anytime.

Money Order
Orders paid with a money order are held for up to 10 business days while the payment arrives. If payment has not arrived by then we will cancel the order. If more time is required please e-mail us and we will be more then happy to accommodate your needs. Orders paid by money order ship out within 24 hours of payment arrival. Check
Returned checks are subject to a $25 bank fee per bounce.

Orders paid by check will be held for 10 business days. Orders will then be held up to another 10 business days until the check has cleared. After you have successfully completed several orders with us, this secondary holding period may be waived.

All checks must be pre-printed and drawn on a U.S. bank or credit union. The information on the check must match the information on your state issued identification. If this is your first order with us we require a copy of this id. You may e-mail us a scan, fax us a copy, or mail a photocopy along with your payment. Subsequent orders with us do not require this information, as we will keep it on file. Please make checks payable to AnimeTen.


Credit Card
We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club and American Express as payment. The minimum order for credit cards is $10.00.
The billing address must be verified in order for us to process your credit card. Your name and the name on the credit card must match. Credit card orders can only be shipped to the billing address. If you would like the items to be sent to another address please fill out the "shipping address on the order form and we will contact you about it.

International Money Order
Orders paid by International money order will be held for 15 business days while payment arrives. Business days are Monday through Friday. Please make sure that the money orders are in U.S. dollar denomination and are payable to AnimeTen.

Credit Cards
We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Diner's Club and American Express as payment. The minimum order for credit cards is $10.00

We require international customers to send us a scan or photocopy of the front and back of their credit card and a government form of photo identification such as a passport. This is only required on your first order with us. Future orders will not require this procedure.

PayPal
We accept only direct payments via PayPal. If you wish to pay via credit card, please go directly through our secure online ordering form. PayPal acceptance is currently on a trial basis and may be discontinued at any time. If for some reason you must pay with a credit card via PayPal, please e-mail us before placing your order so we can work something out.

Paypal orders will only be shipped to the verified address. Because of Paypal regulations, no exceptions may be made to this policy. Any payment via PayPal from an unverified account and address will be denied. If we are unable to work out an alternate payment method/shipping address your order may be canceled.

Paypal payments must be in U.S. dollar denomination.

Domestic Orders - Shipping Options

We use USPS for all of our shipping. Priority Mail offers cheap rates with decent delivery times (2-3 days to most of the US), with delivery confirmation and optional insurance as well as delivery on Saturdays at no extra charge. Express Mail offers overnight delivery to most of the US with insurance and tracking included. FedEx and UPS have higher rates for 2 day or overnight packages.

Priority Mail - Our default shipping method. All orders are boxed. All orders over one pound must be sent by this method. This is a postal regulation. Orders should arrive in 2-3 days.

Express Mail Service (EMS) - The fastest and most secure method of shipping. Also the most expensive. All orders are boxed. Orders are automatically insured for up to $100. For some areas of the United States, overnight delivery is not possible. Please check with your local post office or the USPS web site to see if your city is one of the rare cases. Orders requesting EMS must be submitted before 12:00pm PST on a business day for next day delivery to be attempted.

First Class Mail - A cheaper method of shipping for small orders. This is available for orders weighing 12 ounces or less in lieu of Priority Mail. Orders shipped via first class are not boxed and should take about 3 - 4 business days to arrive.

Media Mail - This method is only for books and media. It is the cheapest and most economical shipping method for those that are ordering a large quantity of books. We are happy to use this method if you request it. Please bear in mind that other character goods cannot be sent this way. They may however be shipped separately by Priority Mail. Estimated time of shipping is about 7 - 10 business days.

Will Call - Local So. California customers who wish to come in person to pick up their orders may request an appointment. Please let us know when you order when you would like to pick up the order. We'll contact you back with an available time frame.

Delivery Confirmation - is added to all orders except first class and EMS.

Insurance - Added only upon request.

AnimeTen is not responsible for lost or damaged orders. We take special care to make sure the items are packaged securely. The post office will only reimburse losses on insured packages. Bear this in mind when you order posters!

International Orders

We use USPS for all of our shipping. UPS is available for international customers that do not wish to use EMS. Please bear in mind that UPS international fees are three times the amount of EMS normally with a higher handling fee.

Global Priority Mail - This is our default shipping method. GPM offers a flat rate to most countries for orders under 4lbs. This works well if you are ordering several B5 size items. Global Priority Mail service is not necessarily available to all countries. Please look at our other shipping options if yours is one of them. The average shipping cost is US$10.00 ($8.00 Canada). For smaller orders such as cards, the cost is US$6.00 ($5.00 Canada). To qualify for the flat rate, all items must weigh less than 4 lbs and fit inside the flat rate envelope. Global Priority Mail orders can not be insured or boxed.

Express Mail Service (EMS) - The fastest and most efficient method. This is the only method that offers insurance and is traceable. EMS does cost more but the peace of mind it provides is priceless. Prices vary per country and order weight. Each order is boxed.

Air Mail - This method is best for small and light orders. Air Mail orders are not boxed. They are also untraceable and can not be insured. Depending on the country and weight the cost of Air Mail can be more expensive then that of Global Priority Mail. When this occurs we use the least expensive method of shipping.

Cancellations
If you have not received a confirmation e-mail concerning your order and wish to cancel your order please let us know as soon as possible.

If your order is confirmed and is awaiting a mailed payment and you wish to cancel it, e-mail us and please let us know. We understand that there are times you have to cancel your order and we will be more then happy to accommodate you. However if we are not informed of the cancellation and the confirmation expires (10-12 days), we will automatically cancel the order. If three automatic cancellations occur this way with no communication we may refuse to service any further orders.


Refunds
There is no fee for canceling an order that has been billed but not shipped. If you wish to cancel your order after it has been shipped, a 10% restocking fee may be imposed, and shipping will not be refunded. Refunds will be issued only when goods have been returned to us. Please bear in mind that in some cases, refused packages take up to two months to be returned.

Security Deposit
Items offered on a pre-order basis may require a security deposit. If we have your credit card on file this deposit may not be necessary.

Availability
AnimeTen can not guarantee the availability of each item offered for pre-order. In the event we fail to obtain the item we apologize and will issue you a refund. When the item(s) arrive, you will be notified of its availability.

Preorders & Normal Orders
You can order additional items we have in stock at that time the preorder is available if you wish, but items may not be ordered and placed on indefinite hold pending the arrival of a preorder item. The other currently available items will be treated as a separate order.
