How to read our product code
Our product code is divided in to 5 sections in the following format:
AnimeTen Product Code: M-XXXX-M1111M222-3333A MOVIC Code: 1111 2222 0000 3333A
The positions indicated by the M's are our flag indicating whether the product code was
assigned based on the MOVIC manufacturing code, or whether it was assigned by us at AnimeTen. Currently there
are only two values: M and C.
Between the MOVIC code and the AnimeTen code, leading zeros are removed.
The first M indicates whether the code in the position of 3333A was taken from product or made up. If it is an M it is assigned by the
Manufacturer. If it is a C then it is Custom assigned by us.
The second part XXXX indicates whom was the manufacturer of the product. MVIC means MOVIC made this product.
The third part M1111 corresponds with the 1111 of the MOVIC code. The leading M or C indicates whether this was read off the product, or
whether it was assigned by us. This 1111 number is the series ID number used generally by MOVIC products.
The fourth part M222 corresponds with the 2222 of the MOVIC code, this indicates the product type. The leading M or C indicates whether MOVIC
has released this type of product before or not. This code says whether an item is Shitajiki or a Lami Card. Doujinshi does not have a MOVIC code,
since MOVIC does not make doujinshi, thus we have assigned our own number and it is preceded by a letter C to indicate that the product type
number is assigned by AnimeTen.
The firth part 3333A corresponds with the 3333A of the MOVIC code, this usually indicates the date of release of this product which is a good
indicator of the "design number" of the product. A shitajiki with picture character Shun may have 9907A while a shitajiki from the same series
but with a different character or design like Ruriko may have 9907B.
EXAMPLE
The code for this GateKeeper Shitajiki that is made by MOVIC is: 0273 0020-01 0399
Our code for this product would become: M-MVIC-M273M20-399
273 (or 0273) is the series ID code for GateKeepers while 20 (or 0020) is the product code for Shitajiki. 399 (or 0399) is the release date
which is March, 1999. It is also the only design during that month and year.
SSL Secure Page display problems
Some users of Internet Explorer have problems displaying our secure page. This is a problem caused by the default Internet Explorer settings.
We have found that other browsers like Opera, Mozilla, Netscape, and many others do not exhibit this problem and is limited to users of Internet Explorer.
Please change your Internet Explorer settings to remedy this problem. These settings can be found at Internet Explorer and at the top menu bar select TOOLS -> Internet Options... -> Advanced tab and scrolling down
through the list to enable those options.
To fix this problem you must have the following settings checked (selected/activated):
- Use HTTP 1.1
- Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections
- Use SSL 2.0
- Use SSL 3.0
- Use TLS 1.0
These settings adjustment allows more flexibility, the HTTP 1.1 settings allows the use of the newer HTTP protocol, and in cases where there is a firewall
or a proxy server between you and us, allows better communications through those devices. The security options will allow greater flexibility in
communicating with a secure site. These settings do not adversely affect your browsing experience else where and still maintain good security with
your web browsing.
